It was 5 something after completed the Safari tour. The coming place to visit after Safari was the MBK shopping mall which was near Siam Paragon shopping mall. It was quite ‘sayang’ that we did not manage to get in Siam Paragon due to the insufficient time. Next time to Bangkok, Siam Paragon is a must. Ate some Japanese dishes and the local green curry as my dinner at shopping mall, tasty! After that, we continued shopping and looked around the place. Bought some clothing too! Wonderful. Thought after the shopping session, I could see the Bangkok famous Four Faces Buddha, but at last I changed my mind. Heard Nathan said that there was always a huge crowds of people praying on Thursday 12 midnight, it was hard to get near to the statue. So, I decided returned to the hotel and have a good sleep.
In the 3rd day, we took 1 to 2 hours to reach the Floating Market. It costs us about 600 Bath (RM60 if I am not mistaken again) with 1 hour tour. It was fun to enjoy the wind and the scene while on boat, and also a good place to take some photos. Just want to let everyone knows that the stuff sell in Floating Market was expensive than the other places in Bangkok because the place had already been commercialize. I recommend that the Chatuchak Market was an idea place to buy things cheap although it was not an air-cond mall. I bought the Thai style long pants at Chatuchak which were cheaper than those my colleague bought at MBK shopping mall. Worth it. But not bad to have a visit.
Finished the Floating Market, the next was the Elephant Zoo. Took another 2 hours again to reach the place. Sign, the entrance fee was costs me 550 Bath (RM55). Could smell a strong queer animal’s smell after enter the place, I could not stand for it long term because it could kill my appetite and my patient. LoL! Finally, I saw the real elephant in the first time of my life. Sounds like I was really a ‘shua ba lao’! LoL! Felt so happy to see them, they were so cute. When I saw those elephants locked by the big heavy chain, suddenly I felt so sad to see that. Their movement should not be controlled and limited in such a way, they should ran freely in the wild and lived their own way. Just because want to entertain the tourists and visitors, they lost their freedom. Or might be I was thinking too much. Cleared my mind, and then went to see the elephant show. Before that, there was a magic show to entertain the visitors. Tell the true, the magic show was very boring :p.
The elephant show was good, they were so cute while they used their long nose to hang the front elephant’s tail and queued up. In the elephant dancing part, I saw the performers used something like curve blade to stab the elephant’s thigh and tried to force them to perform. OMG, this was cruel, man. I felt so shitty angry with this kind of treatment to animals. Gosh! What show I was really watching!? Heartbroken to see that. Next time I will try not to watch this kind of show. After this, watched the crocodile show. Just nothing special since I can always see crocodile in my country, hehe.
