blinds for the kitchen! Initially we wanted to get those ready made ones from Giants but it was already sold out by the time we decided to go and get it. Blessing in disguise perhaps ? We did went to buy a rolling blind from there instead which at the moment didn't look compatible with the room window. So count that as an error in purchase judgement. :) Probably I'll drop by Fah Avantgarde Haberdasher. near Main Bazaar with my parent this weekend to have a look at those custom made ones.

My dad does the drilling and it was quite hard to drill into a tiled wall. Maybe it was because the drill wasn't suited for wall drilling.
The Blinds is installed because after we changed the windows to fully glass type, the neighbors can see us clearly as oppose to those old pattern tempered glass previously. One thing i didn't like after change to window is the amount of work needed just to clean the windows everyday.
So what's next ? Perhaps an electric chimney so my mum don't always have to mop the flooring after each cooking. Still building up budget for that.
