Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a cup of mocha at Starbuck, can't even remember the last mocha I had at San Francisco (the one at KL). Life back in Kuching is so much slower paced. At first it was really hard to adjust to such mundane lifestyle but slowly I grew fond of being back in my home town of Kuching. Indeed the experience I gathered back in the days of hun ki hun lok at KL was invaluable, but it ain't so bad here either. But I do not wish to explain further on this, I'm more interested to talk about Starbuck-ing in Kuching. Allow me to summarize on the experience of a very expensive cup of over sweeten coffee brew. It is very expensive. Very sweet. The wifi is slow. A RM 1.50 coffee at any kopitiam would have been a more bang for the buck. Yesterday experience of drinking there with dear have reminded me why I stop going to such place in the first place years ago. Have to set this as reminded in the phone as a aid to my ailing memory.
