Had a nice family dinner with my parents at my small eat place the other night. Not exactly mother's day celebration as we don't do this kind of thing. Maybe we did that a few years ago at Wong Shan Wong. My mum said, if she need to wait only once a year for her children to celebrate with her, aneh masi a long long wait. Over commercialization is the other problem. I would rather celebrate Happy Family Day, everyday. The feeling of having your parents, sibling and relative around on all occasion is the kind of feeling that is irreplaceable. Life is very short, always cherish each day as if its our last. Simplicity reigns.
