How was everyone's new year celebration ? Must have been a lot of shutter been fired on new years eve ;), especially when there was a lot of events going on at MJC and also Boulevard Shopping Mall. I was at the Boulevard New Year count down in 2009 which you can see here, but stayed home on a wet new years eve this year. I think I did the same thing last year as I can't find any photos on the 2010 celebration anywhere. Yet again, I forgot that there is quite a lot of photos in my memory card which I've yet to go through since I last took em' last month. Too preoccupied with the video thingy last month, perhaps.
We used to enjoy having meals here at the causeway bay at crown towers but somehow on our recent visit, we noticed that the food seems to lost its deliciousness. Did they change the cook ? Or were they concentrating on the newer branch near Titanium there. Quite disappointed considering the fact that the chances that we get to dine outside is like once in every month only.
As you all know the recent price hike in petrol will definitely push the prices of food and drink further, yet the problem lies in the fact that our spending power didn't even increased inline with the hike. What more to say about inflation ? Our ringgit values diminishes faster than we can earn it. It's a sigh sigh world.
Noticed the constant raining lately ? Yeah, its the monsoon season. Technically this means that most outdoor activities have to rely solely on the erratic weather. Believe me when I say this, a lot of my plan got spoiled by the weather recently. There was even a flash flood at kenyalang park recently from a 15 minute rain!
I always enjoy walking here during the evening. It's no Spring or Boulevard, but it does have its unique quality. Once a kenyalang resident, always a kenyalang resident.
These street peddler knows how to work and please the crowds. He was drawing the palm of a hand. Not sure whats the purpose of that as we didn't stick around long to hear em'. The light and light stand is quite useful for video and also photography. Not to mention its cheaper than a studio light equipment or even a flash.
