The Story Between You and MeHe and She

Friday, April 30, 2010

She mention that there weren't enough couple shot together. He always forgot to bring the tripod and the remote so the usual couple shot where pretty much only head shots together. Well all that change one fine Sunday morning. He opted to skip Church Service for this little get together. She wasn't sure the weather would be forgiving. They both made the 1 hour 30 minute journey to Pandan Beach near Lundu. The weather wasn't perfect but it's pretty usable. Every step has a beginning ... and when a milestone is reach ... we could look back and say .. "Hey, you know what... the rest they say is history".

The Story Between You and MeDelicious Tosai Gravy, 1 Unknown Cat and A Cat Name Ah Mi

Sunday, April 25, 2010

Quite long time already didn't chio Terence out for supper due to busy and conflicting work and sports schedule. You see I go to jog at MBKS New Park from Tuesday until Friday from 6pm to 7pm while he had badminton on Tuesday and Friday from 6pm - 8pm at Stakan while in between I'm always preoccupied with my FM2010 game if I am not out on a date. hehe. Okay, so we always meet at this place call Bombay Masala 7th Mile Branch because I love the teh tarik there and also the Tosai. Although they don't seem to have Masala Tosai, they only have the plain version. The trinity of gravy is superb. For me anyway. :)

Trinity of Gravy... hmmm sedap.

We saw a cat wandering around the restaurant and since I had the 50mm mounted on my camera, I proceed to snap a shot at it. The poor guy was probably very hungry. Sorry mate can't give u the gravy, it's a bit spicy and oily.

It Saturday afternoon, I took a photo of my gf's family cat call Ah Mi (not sure if this is the correct spelling). She was so nice to post for the camera. awwwww

The Story Between You and MeMuara Tebas Chinese Temple

Saturday, April 24, 2010

Jason text me the other day asking if I wanted to join him for a visit to the Muara Tebas Chinese Temple with Ah Kai and Shin Lian. The weather is a bit on the high side, sweating profusely is the order of the day. The 3 guys asked the deity helps except me (They belong to the B team while I belong to the C team :) ). I brought along only one lens with me and it can't AF on the EOS body. Yeah I brought along the Pentax SMC Takumar 50mm F1.4 with an EOS adapter. Shooting with a manual lens is quite challenging but it can be pretty rewarding if you manage get a spot on focus. Btw, the parking fees have risen to RM4, pretty steep ... or is it because there were four of us ?

The Story Between You and MeHanoi || Rendezvous - 5

An incident free day. Went to walk around the Old Quaters. After lunch took a cab to Vincomm City Tower which is a huge shopping mall (bigger than The Spring). Bought a lot t-shirt back today.

Tam Coc tour for today. Before that, they took a detour to visit a couple of chinese temple. Tam Coc is pretty scenic but down right annoying seller trying very hard to sell their product almost ruin the whole experience. There is no way to avoid them because everyone including the tour guide is in cahoot. Another problem is the tip, I thought the tour was already paid but they insist on a tip. The tipping from where I came from is voluntary, here it's pretty much forced. I lost about 63 photos today, due to power failure in the hotel when I was transferring the photo into the external hdd (Should never use cut function).

The Story Between You and MeHanoi || Rendezvous - 3

Took a daily tour of Halong Bay which is located about 3 hour drive from the city. Yet again it rains and the sky is entirely white and grey. The food included in the tour had to be shared with 6 people (a kind of a ripoff,if you ask me). The tour was ok, lots of big rock in the middle of the sea to see. The journey back to the city however is another different story. 5 hours of lame driving of repetitive accelerating to 50km/hour and braking and again and again and again, caused me to puke when I reach the hotel. Didn't even had dinner upon arrival as most establisment is closed (mostly).
