A Tragic Christmas Eve

After coming back from my yam cha session with my dear, I was shock to learn that my neighbor opposite my house have perish in a fire a few hours earlier. Early information that I got is that the fire occurred due to an overheated computer. It’s a tragic loss.

 

 

Sunset

Just finish going off from work, saw this beautiful sunset just across the road from the office. Since I have a Powershot A470 on my hand, I duly obliged to capture the best nature has to offer.

Fairy Cave

A good friend of mine just came back from Singapore on a long holiday, he stop by Kuching before departing back to his hometown of Sarikei. While he was here, I brought him for some eatery and also to visit Fairy Cave which is free and part of the national reserve. Quite spooky place if you ask me. There is 2 staircase leading up to the cave itself which is pretty steep and slippery.

Bau

Had breakfast early in the morning with Ngu at C121 Kopitiam at Stutong and we did some catching up. It's been a while since he came back, so I brought him to the Town of Bau for some visitation before leading up to Fairy Cave.

Tasik Biru, Bau Panorama

My first time trying a panorama using Powershot A470 camera and edited using the included software called Photostitch. Pretty cool, just that the uploading site doesn't allow large format photo. The combine photo is about 25 MB for a panorama of about 180 degrees.

Preparation

The company annual dinner preparation is in progress. Although I am the secretary of the committee, there is quite a lot of things to write in the report. (I really hate writing reports) Below are the things being prepared, the invitation card and also the lucky draw.

Lazy or Just Delusional

Testing out manual focusing on the Powershot A470, I absolutely love the circular bokeh produced by this compact camera. A pretty handy thing to have when DSLR just isn't the option.

Macro Stuff

Trying out some shot with the Raynox DCR-250 coupled with the EF 50mm F1.8 lense at my backyard. The sun was streaming hot and perfect to use a small aperture without losing much light intake.

More Alza with Advance Version

Went to check out the Alza Advance version with Terence and his wife. The first showroom that we went to is the Hui Sing one and we're told that there is no test drive car because someone crashed it. What a bummer.
