The Story Between You and MeDUN Opening Fireworks

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Last night went to see Agong at waterfront. But hor .. the place is very hot lo. Not so very hot but is very the jialat hot. I went there with Tom, Bong and Jason. Jason was fairly enthusiastic to see all the big big ppl arriving. As for me I'm just waiting for the fireworks to fly. I missed out on huge chunk of the show because I only bring the ultra wide with me. Should have brought my telephoto along. :(

The only person that I found wearing mask.

Lots of people.

Tom, Bong and Jason.

Agong's Chair

Jason, try to be the Agong for few minutes.

Police is very fierce last night. It's like their job is on the line somehow.

Got some performance but everyone is crowding up all the interesting places.

The Story Between You and MeBroadband Fair @ The Spring

Friday, July 24, 2009

Just came back from the fair, nothing much to see unless you wish to subscribe to a broadband package. There is a booth that talk about the wireless broadband provider for remote area such as Mukah, Julau and etc by DeConnexion (I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly?). Besides that, there is also a One Laptop Per Child Program being exhibited. We went to ask about fixed IP package on behalf of the company. Oh .. and err .. I used my company camera the Nikon Coolpix S620 to take these photo.

The Story Between You and MePadawan Fair 2009

Thursday, July 23, 2009

Did I mention the place is hot and humid ? Well it is .. and I'm having a hard time there. I went there with Mr Liao Yi Liao and his wife mainly to visit our company booth as mention on the previous post. I think I also mentioned that it's almost the same as Kuching Festival only lesser people. Despite it's different name, locality compared to Kuching Festival, the content is the same with the usual suspect such as food stall, fun house & games, live stage performances and of course some auto display showcase. We tried the taiwan sausage and some big fat pork ball which is rather handful to consume because it's freaking stuffed with loads of porky meat.

Cheaper than usual rice ? I didn't really go an compare.

This stall is very well received. The taiwan sausage sell at RM 2.00 per stick with 4 small sausages each.

Bak Kua ... didn't buy it because I'm maintaining my diet and I only have RM 6.00 with me, this month pokai because of the car insurance and road tax renewal. :S

 Looks delicious.

Face got pimples cannot eat.

The meat ball on the lower right is the one we bought lo. RM 3.00 satu stick ..

Chicken wing ... yummy.

The usual stuff .. see also bored with it.

Business jin jia ho ...

One of the least celebrated stalls. Not sure what they selling.
